Ours three cards

Even if our accommodation is not far from the city center, about 10 minutes by bus, we have decided to buy the TRIO ticket which enable us to take the train, bus and ferry everywhere in the zone C1 and whenever we want for £56.80 per month.

James Parsons Building

When we have bought our TRIO ticket at Queen Square Bus Station, we have seen several Liverpool John Moores University building  that's why we have tried to find the James Parsons Building before our first day at the university.

Avril Robarts with the Super Lamb Banana

On Monday, we have had our first time in LJMU with a little introduction by our program leader Dr.R.English and during the afternoon we have got our LJMU card at the Avril Robarts LRC building known for the Super Lamb Banana. Thus, with this card we have a free access to all the computer and a large amount of book in the Avril Robarts LRC.

Arrival

After three nights spent in the Hatters Hostel which is pretty expensive and two days of intensive research with the free wireless internet access at Mcdonalds, we have finally found a pretty accommodation no so far from the city center.For the moment, we share the house with Dany, a young woman from bulgaria who studies and makes search about  Malaria Disease at Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine. There is still another double room avalaible so we hope to meet other students soon. By the way, we try to get used to speaking and understanding english and discover the life in Liverpool.
